The TX1-G is the recommended alternative to the TX-1, if the gas detector is being used in environments where Hydrogen gas could be present. The TX1-G includes the CO/H2 Low cells which includes two electrodes and a special catalyst with a lower sensitivity to Hydrogen and prevents incorrect readings.

Tango TX1 Single Gas Monitor

The Tango TX1 Single Gas Monitor for personal protection from dangerous levels of Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, Nitrogen Dioxide or Sulphur Dioxide. The Tango TX1 will operate continuously in an always-on mode for two years, with a replaceable gas cells and Lithium-Thionyl Chloride battery allowing the detector to be used much longer. The DualSense Technology provides a more reliable output by incorporating the readings from two independent sensors to ensure an accurate reading.
