Description

The TSC201 is a compact 1-Wire current sensor that monitors both AC and DC currents, supporting an input range up to 10 A. This versatility allows it to directly measure low currents or, when paired with current transformers (CTs) that have a 10 A secondary output, accurately monitor much higher currents. Equipped with a 16-bit ADC, it delivers high-resolution readings, making it perfect for detailed load monitoring and energy diagnostics. A critical feature for safety and reliability is its galvanic isolation between the input and communication interface, which effectively protects against electrical noise and voltage transients. The TSC201 comes factory calibrated, meaning it requires no user adjustment, ensuring quick installation and preventing setup errors. Its compact design fits easily into control panels or cabinets, making it a precise, electrically safe, and user-friendly solution for new or existing systems that need dependable current measurement in challenging environments.

For power and data, the TSC201 is designed for simplicity. Data updates typically occur every second with Teracom controllers, providing consistent, near real-time monitoring within the protocol’s practical limits.
