The TR150 is a battery powered, portable, high resolution digital load cell indicator designed to work with all types of load cell and strain gauge based transducer. The TR150 features a 7-digit LCD display with peak & trough capture, hold function and shunt calibration. The display also includes an optional RS232 serial data output. The TR150 is housed in a robust IP65 enclosure, with optional protective black leather case, and powered by 2 ‘AA’ batteries that can provide up to 450 hours of continuous operation in low power mode with a 350Ω load cell or strain gauge bridge connected. The TR150 can be used for any monitoring application from general industrial up to high accuracy reference standards.
The TR150 Portable Strain Display Load Cell/Force transducer readout is a microprocessor based portable instrument designed to interface with any full bridge sensor with an output sensitivity of up to 50mV/V. Bridge resistances from 85Ω upwards can be used with the TR150.
Configuration and calibration of the TR150 is achieved using the front panel push buttons to navigate through a very simple menu structure.

The TR150 is powered by two internal non-rechargeable AA alkaline batteries. The display provides the excitation voltage for the load cell, or strain gauge, and provides a programmable reading from the returned mV/V output.
Sensor Connections
The standard sensor connection is a 5 pin 723 series Binder connector. The sensor connector is also used as a charging socket, when the re-chargeable alkaline battery option has been ordered, the wiring for this is detailed below:-
