Tinytag Talk 2 Medical Temperature Logger - TK-4014-MED

  • Description

Description

The Tinytag Talk 2 Medical, TK-4014-MED, is a simple, cost effective way of monitoring the temperature of pharmaceuticals in fridges, freezers and other cool (ambient) storage areas. These loggers are used widely by hospital pharmacies, surgeries and health centres for monitoring the temperature and providing a clear visual alarm for any temperature breaches. The logger automatically records and stores a complete temperature history that can be downloaded to a PC to provide a detailed record of storage temperatures.

The Tinytag Talk 2 Medical has two alarms that can be user set at high and low levels specific to the products being monitored. Breaching these set-points will trip a flashing red light, enabling spot assessment of ongoing temperature levels and prevent the use of any products that may not have been maintained at the correct temperature. The TK-4014-MED includes a magnetic trigger start that isn’t included with the standard TK-4014. This allows units to be pre-programmed ready for use and then the logging started whenever required. The units also include a delayed start function, which can be used to automatically start a logger at a given pre-set time. The other difference to the standard TK-4014 logger is the improved 0.02°C resolution of the TK-4014-MED

This compact, battery powered unit is reliable and highly accurate. Designed with a temperature response similar to many vaccine formats, it accurately profiles the temperature changes experienced by the pharmaceuticals being monitored. The recording interval is user defined and with a memory capacity of 16,000 readings this would provide six months of data with a reading every half hour. The temperature history is transferred easily to PC, where Tinytag Explorer will automatically produce a graph and table of the data, creating a permanent record.
