The Tinytag Energy Logger Hire Unit can be used to monitor single and three phase energy supplies and is very simple and easy to use portable energy logger. Current measurements are taken using flexible non-invasive coils and the voltage readings are collected from the connected UK mains supply for quick and easy installation. The unit provides 6 weeks continuous logging at 5 minute intervals. The hire unit is supplied with a carry case, three current coils, UK mains leads, a USB cable, a copy of the Tinytag Explorer software and a user manual.
The Tinytag energy logger’s can be used to monitor individual pieces of equipment through to complete buildings and installations. Suitable for monitoring single or three phase power supplies, it can be used as a hand-held unit for spot checks or as a data logger for longer term assessment. The recorded data can be used to build up energy usage profiles, to determine when pieces of equipment are being used, to troubleshoot power supply problems or highlight inefficient equipment that should be replaced.

When fitting batteries, observe the correct polarity. *When a mains lead is plugged in, the logger will be mains powered. If the mains should fail, the batteries in the logger will typically keep it recording for 60 days.
