Description

The subsea switch is a compact unit designed for ROV activation in deep-sea applications. Featuring a square mounting plate made of 316 stainless steel, behind which a rotating switch bar containing two permanent magnets Upon rotation to the “ON” position, one of these magnets align with a reed switch sensor housed in a stainless steel enclosure behind the mounting plate, activating a solid state relay. The stainless steel housing also incorporates one or two Subsea bulkhead connectors for controlling a power supply, or turn on an internal battery power. The unit is provided with a 5m cable, equipped with matching Subsea connectors, with the entire switch assembly and connectors rated for operation in seawater depths up to 4000 meters.
