Description
The SUBSEA-SW2 subsea power switch is ideal for switching power on, and off, on a subsea sled, or any subsea operating system. The square mounting plate is made of 316 stainless steel, with a rotating switch bar containing two permanent magnets. Upon rotation to the horizontal “ON” position, one of the two magnets align with a reed switch sensor housed in a stainless steel enclosure behind the mounting plate, activating a secondary solid state relay. The solid state relay is suitable for switching 60vDC up to 3A. This can feed the power through the switch on your system.
The stainless steel housing incorporates two Subsea bulkhead connectors, that connects the power supply to the main system. The SUBSEA-SW2 is provided with two 5m cable, one equipped with MCBH4M-SS for the power supply and the second with a MCBH5F-SS connectors to the main system. The entire switch assembly and connectors are rated for operation in seawater depths up to 4000 meters.
The SUBSEA-SW2-CRE is virtually identical to the SUBSEA-SW2 subsea switch, but uses a 3-Pin CRE subsea connector back to power the main system instead of the MCBH 5-Pin connection.
