Description
The LEO-SUBSEA is a self-contained, battery-powered pressure and temperature logger, which is supplied in a stainless steel subsea housing for long-term, unattended monitoring of pressure and temperature in demanding subsea environments. The housing can be supplied as fully enclosure to retrieve and download data after deployment, with a subsea connector to allow data to be collected during deployment, or with a subsea window allowing Its digital display is visible for immediate readings subsea.
Key Features and Benefits:
- Submersible to 4,000 Meters: Housed in a robust, subsea-rated enclosure, the LEO RECORD is designed for reliable operation at depths up to 4,000 meters.
- Real-time readings: The housing can be fitted with a viewing window, allowing for direct observation of the digital display even when deployed.
- Non-Volatile Data Integrity: Integrated non-volatile memory ensures the secure retention of all recorded data, providing a robust audit trail and preventing data corruption or loss, even in the event of power failure.
- Dual-Channel Data Acquisition: Simultaneously records both pressure and temperature, offering a comprehensive environmental profile.
- Intelligent Data Management: The logging can be set to event-controlled (capturing significant changes) and interval-based logging, preventing the accumulation of redundant data and maximising memory efficiency.
- Intuitive Configuration and Read-Out: The Logger software platform provides a user-friendly interface for instrument configuration, data download, visualisation, and analysis on PC.
- Enhanced Traceability: Enables the direct storage of critical installation parameters and user-defined annotations within the instrument’s memory, facilitating comprehensive data interpretation and traceability.
- Data Retrieval via LEO-SUBSEA-DNLD-CABLE: Data is easily retrieved using a custom K114A download cable, which has been interfaces with a subsea cable to connect to the subsea housing connector, ensuring secure and reliable data transfer without compromising the housing’s integrity.
- Secure Transport and Storage: The LEO SUBSEA can be supplied in a rugged, portable PeliCase, providing maximum protection during transportation and storage, safeguarding the instrument from damage in transit or during periods of inactivity.
- Standard Pressure Connection: The pressure connection is a standard ¼” BSP female thread, but can be amended for compatibility with a wide range of pressure ports.
The subsea housing can be customised to suit your specific requirements with pressure ports to match your own need. Pressure tests can be carried out to certify the subsea housing for operation at depth and the gauges can be supplied with calibration certificates.
Units can also be serviced for future deployments, with replacement batteries, re-calibration and full testing.
