Description
The SSE232-4B0-00-IA3 is the latest version of the SSE232-IA Serial Servers with 4 transparent serial ports. The unit allows for the remote connection of 4 separate serial devices on a single device with access from anywhere in the world via an Ethernet connection. The SSE232 works as a transparent serial server to convert the serial strings to an Ethernet TCP/IP protocol. Serial devices connected to an SSE232-IA unit may be connected over the Ethernet using a second SSE232 device, via virtual COM port software, or via the existing device software (required TCP/IP compatibility). SSE232’s are also available with single serial input channels and 10 configurable digital I/O channels for remote monitoring and control over an Ethernet connection
