Description
The SSE232-1C0-10C-IA3-IS is the latest version of the SSE232-IA Serial Servers with a single transparent serial port and 10 configurable digital I/Os. The unit allows for the remote connection of a serial devices from anywhere in the world via an Ethernet connection. The SSE232 works as a transparent serial server to convert the serial string to an Ethernet TCP/IP protocol. Serial devices connected to an SSE232-IA unit may be connected over the Ethernet using a second SSE232 device, via virtual COM port software, or via the existing device software (required TCP/IP compatibility). SSE232’s are also available with 4 configurable serial ports with or with flow control.
