Sharpeye Flame Simulator

Flame simulators allow you to fully test the function of your flame detection system under real fire conditions without the associated risks of an open flame.  The Spectrex range of FS-1X00 flame simulators covers the full range of IR, UV/IR, IR3 and IR4 flame detectors. Each flame simulator covers a specific electromagnetic radiation band to cover a specific fire type. The units are portable battery powered units that allow units to be used to fully test the fire detection system function, lines of sight for obstructions and window lens cleanliness. In order to comply with SIL2 compliance, all flame detectors must be annually tested to ensure the integrity of your entire flame detection system. Flame simulators are supplied as kits complete with battery, charger and carrying case.
