Description
The Series 46XEi combines the ceramic measuring cell for low pressure ranges with the μP-electronics of the digital Series 30 pressure transmitters. The level sensors of the 46X series combine a ceramic measuring cell for very low measuring ranges on the mBar scale with microprocessor electronics for compensating for temperature dependence and nonlinearity. This produces a high accuracy depth sensor for ranges from 0-3 metres WG down to 0-300mm WG In addition to the digital RS485 interface, the sensors also have a rangeable analog output. The signal values of the pressure and temperature sensors are determined by a polynomial compensation. The values can be shown and stored on a PC and can be reprogrammed. The Series 46XEi sensors include a reference tube integrated in the PE cable and connects the referential chamber of the sensor with the ambient pressure. Allowing readings to automatically adjust for ambient pressure. The PA46XEi series is no longer available.

The Series 46XEi is an intrinsically safe pressure transmitter suitable for use in Hazardous Areas, where the categories 1 and 2 are required. Sensor must only be used in combination with certified intrinsically safe equipment.
