Description
The Series 26Y use a monocrystalline silicon measuring cell behind a 17mm stainless steel diaphragm and protective plastic cap. The Y-series electronics of the sensor has a very low start up time, less than 5ms, making it ideal for remote data logging application.
PAA-26Y Absolute, Zero at Vacuum
This probe is used in conjunction with a separate barometric pressure sensor to allow the readings to be adjusted for the atmospheric pressure and an accurate water level to be calculated as the difference between the absolute value and the ambient pressure. Cable material Polyolefin (PE-based), or PUR cable.
PR-26Y Transmitter, Zero at atmospheric Pressure
This probe is fitted with durable cable with an integral vent tube to the atmosphere and will provide a true water level compensated for atmospheric pressure. These level transmitters can be subject to internal condensation caused by installations in cold water on warm, humid days. If the reference tube is not terminated in a warm, dry enclosure, the use of a purpose built cartridge filled with a silica gel will prevent moisture in the reference tube. Cable material Polethylene (PE) with vent tube.
