PR 3300 Series Loop-Powered Temperature Converters

The PR 3300 Series is a range of 6mm loop-powered temperature isolators and signal converters suitable for use with K & J Type thermocouples and PT100 temperature sensors. Programming is achieved via selectable DIP switches allowing changes to 4-20mA output and temperature ranges. The series includes the PR 3337 HART 7 protocol unit that allow for integrating PT100 and thermocouples into a HART system. HART 7 revision protocol allows for extended programming. All units are ATEX approved for Zone 2 environments.

Power Supply Options


The 3100 Slim Series units can be supplied in various different ways:-

  1. One unit can be connected to suitable 24vDC ±30% power supply and then looped to up to 130 additional units, max 2.5A.
  2. One unit can be connected to a suitable 24vDC ±30% power supply and mounted on to the 9400 Power Rail to distribute power to up to 20 units, max 0.4A
  3. The 3405 Power Connector Unit can be connected to a suitable 24vDC ±30% power supply and then to the 9400 Power Rail to distributor power to up to 100 units, max 2.5A.
  4. The 9410 Power Connector Unit can be connected to a suitable 24vDC ±30% power supply (plus a secondary back-up power supply) and then to the 9400 Power Rail to distributor power to up to 200 units, max 4A.
  5. Loop-powered units are powered directly from the 4-20mA signal.

All devices are ATEX Approved and can safely be used in a safe area, or in ATEX Zone 2 environments.

Units with the suffix -N do not include the power rail connections and can only be powered via the terminals.
