Description
The Omni-F Flow Transmitter/Switch is designed to measure flow rates in aqueous fluids using calorimetric sensor technology. This measurement principle allows for the determination of flow speed by monitoring heat transfer, providing a responsive and direct indication of flow dynamics. The device is engineered to output an analogue signal, which can be configured to provide either a 0/4-20mA output or a 0/2-10V output, making it adaptable to various control and monitoring systems.
Features

The Omni-F Flow Transmitter incorporates programmable switching capabilities, offering two independent switch outputs. These switches can be configured to trigger alarms or control external devices based on predefined flow thresholds. The programming interface includes a graphical display and a programming ring, which allows users to set parameters such as switching points and hysteresis. For security, the programming ring can be removed, preventing unauthorized changes to the device’s configuration.
Constructed to withstand industrial demands, the Omni-F features a robust housing made primarily of stainless steel. This material provides excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress. The device also includes a durable glass display, which is designed to be scratch-resistant and chemically resilient, ensuring that the display remains clear and legible over time.
