Description

The new OceanDISP-2 is a powerful light-activated subsea display unit based on the highly successful OceanDISP but with many new features including:

• ‘Terminal’ input displays ANY received serial message
• Any part of data message may be stripped out & displayed
• Data can scroll or be sequenced
• Wide operating voltage range 10 – 36VDC
• Standby current drain of <5mA for extended battery life
• Simultaneous RS232 and RS485 inputs
• Input Baud rates from 300 to 57600
• Fully programmable from remote PC or laptop
• Programmable “On” and “Off” times
• Two light sensors for differential, front, rear or both activation
• Programmable light sensor activation thresholds
• External TTL on/off control and TTL status output

Utilising high visibility LEDs, the OceanDISP can display data from a wide range of inputs including:

• OceanTools MiniFOG gyro compass, OceanTILT tilt sensors or OceanTHDT sensors
• Data loggers
• Subsea pressure, temperature and flow sensors
• Wide range of third-party gyro compasses and tilt sensors etc
