Description
The MTN/PS002 is a 4″ stainless steel contact probe designed for quick-check handheld measurements, allowing the MTN/VM220 or MTN/VM330D to capture vibration data from hard-to-reach surfaces or machinery where a magnetic mount is impractical and where measurements are taken before installing a permanent sensor.
MTN/PS002 Spike Probe with ¼” UNF Thread
An alternative adapter type to permanent adapters having a quick release thread on the machine end. The spike adapter offers the user the option of taking spot readings at specific points on machinery to get a better indication of the overall vibration. The spike probe fits to the 1/4″ UNF Female thread on the sensors, eg MTN/1185, MTN/1187 or MTN/2100 probe for the portable vibration meters, MTN/VM220 or MTN/330D.
