The standard MTN/VM220 and MTN/VM330D kits provides a versatile monitoring solution by including a high-performance MTN/2100-HP handheld probe, which acts as the primary constant current accelerometer for capturing vibration and temperature data. For flexible mounting, the kit includes a magnetic base for stable, hands-free attachment to flat or curved ferrous surfaces, alongside the MTN/PS002 stainless steel spike probe for manual “point-and-press” readings in cramped or non-magnetic areas. Together, these accessories allow the meter to transition seamlessly between high-accuracy fixed testing and rapid, multi-point machinery health checks.

MTN/2100-HP Handheld Probe

The MTN/2100-HP (often listed as MTN/2100-X or just the MTN/2100) is the standard handheld accelerometer probe for the VM220 and VM330D vibration meters. They feature a built-in constant current sensor that provides the primary vibration and temperature signal to the portable vibration meters, MTN/VM220 or MTN/330D. The kits are supplied with this handheld probe and it includes a ¼” UNF Male Thread on the base for attaching the MTN/PS002 Spike probe, the MTN/MM001 Magnetic probe or any of the other adaptors with the same ¼” UNF Female Thread.
