The MSR175 is a miniature data logger designed for the high performance, high speed monitoring of conditions during transportation. The MSR175 is ideal for the identification and continuous documentation of external physical effects on cargo, such as shocks and jolts, temperature extremes, changes in humidity, light, or pressure. Two integrated 3-axis acceleration sensors provide shock readings in the range of ±15g and ±200g with a measurement frequency of 6,400Hz. Two versions of the MSR175 are available, one provides shock and temperature readings, whilst the second includes light, humidity and pressure sensors. A version is also available with a replaceable external battery for up to 2 years operation.
The MSR175 stand-alone data logger uses high-resolution sensors to continuously record what happens to your goods during transportation. The logger data can then be analysed very accurately – be it in order to ascertain damage or to improve transport packaging – using the “MSR ShockViewer” software.
The two 3-axis acceleration sensors integrated in the MSR175 have working ranges of ±15 g and ±200 g. They record shocks and jolts at a measurement frequency of up to 6,400 measurements per second. The installed memory of the logger is capable of storing over 2 million measured values, which is sufficient for more than 1,000 shocks. In addition, the MSR175 data logger measures and records temperature profiles from -20° to +65 °C. Additionally, a second type variant of this data logger is available with internal humidity, pressure and light sensors.
Easy-to-use pc software: Thanks to the new MSR175 Dashboard software, preparing the MSR175 for its mission and reading its measured data via USB is very easy. The data can be analysed and clearly presented in a chart using the intuitive MSR ShockViewer software. In the process, you can analyse critical events at a glance and document them conclusively in a report; a frequency analysis facilitates identifying the causes of shock events.
