Description
The TSH330 is an IP54-rated temperature and humidity sensor designed for robust environmental monitoring, communicating via an RS485 interface and supporting the Modbus RTU protocol. It employs a unique capacitive element for relative humidity measurement and a bandgap element for temperature, both seamlessly coupled to a 12-bit analogue to digital converter for superior measurement quality. Its IP54 rating makes it an ideal choice for applications requiring protection against dust and water splashes. When paired with Teracom’s Ethernet or cellular controllers, the TSH330 provides an excellent solution for reliable temperature and humidity monitoring in demanding environments.
The TSH330 communicates over an RS485 interface, allowing for a different Modbus address to be set on each sensor, which facilitates multi-sensor support over a single bus. Encased in an IP65-rated enclosure, the digital sensor offers enhanced protection against both dust and water sprays. Installation is made fast and easy through its cable gland with locknut and screwless terminal block, ensuring secure and straightforward cable connections.
