Description
The MIEXJU2114 is a vane anemometer probe suitable for use with the MiniAir Junior Ex handheld display for monitoring the flows of non-aggressive gases in Hazardous Areas. The probe head is a synthetic plastic construction with an Aluminium turbine that generates a frequency output each time a blade passes the probe handle. The frequency of rotation is almost proportional to the air-flow velocity and largely independent of pressure, temperature, density and humidity. The MiniAir Junior converts the rotational frequency into a standard signal and shows the measured value in the display.
The MIEXJU2114 includes the Micro snaphead, which is only 11mm in diameter, with a flow range of 0-40m/s. This head is smaller than the probe handle and allows the sensor to be inserted into a compression gland and only requires a minimum access diameter of 16mm. The Micro head is ideal for measuring flow rates in ducting and other small pipe work, or any applications where a probe needs to be inserted and secured in place.
Snap-Head Replacement
The snap-head fixing system renders it very simple to fit a new impeller to the flow probe: this saves costly non-productive time and in the event of damage to the snap-head enables you to have the probe back in service in a matter of seconds by simply changing the snap-head.
Any replacement snap-head must be an identical size and flow rate to the one removed.
Extension Rods
The extension rods allow the probe handle to be extended to provide a better reach. Each rod includes male and female M12 mounting thread to secure the extension rods to the bottom of the MiniAir probes. Multiple extension rods may be fitted together using the M12 mounting threads. The telescopic extension rod can be adjusted to secure in position from 300mm to 1m in length
MIEXJU2114 is the replacement part for part no. 95.2037.
