The MCV1-FO-ETH-SC-SI Ethernet to SC Fibre Optic Converter offers a versatile solution for extending Ethernet network connectivity beyond the typical limitations of copper cabling. With support for Singlemode fibre (up to 10 km), this converter is ideal for connecting larger geographically separated network segments. SC connectors are very popular choice for fibre connections, due to their ease of use, reliability, and density advantages, SC connectors are widely used in modern telecommunications and data communication networks, including Gigabit Ethernet and passive optical networks (GPON).
