Description
The LPMS-AL3 Motion Sensor is a miniature inertial measurement unit (IMU) and attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) housed in a small Aluminium Alloy housing. The housing is ideal for harsh environments, or where shocks or may damage the standard ABS plastic housings of the LPMS-U3 version. The unit performs accurate, high speed orientation and displacement measurements with three different MEMS sensors. The LPMS-AL3 is equipment with a powerful central processing unit that will fuse raw data from a gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer to calculate results in real-time with low drift. All sensor parameters and data transmission options can be controlled by our LPMSControl2 software. For direct interfacing to Windows / Linux PC or Open Source drivers with support for OpenZen, C, C++, Python, C#, Unity and ROS.
