As with the 300 Bar gauge, the 700 Bar LEO Record is suitable for a broad range of demanding industrial and technological needs. This gauge can also display pressures in psi and the range covers 10,000 psi, a popular range for pressure monitoring. The ¼” BSP thread is an industry standard for small gauges but the ½”NPT thread offers some specific Mechanical advantages. Firstly, the NPT thread provides a more rigid interface and is sealed by the thread, instead of a perishable o’ring at the top of the thread. It is also metal on metal and the threads wedge together. Finally, it can also provide a higher blow-out resitance due to its much larger surface area. Critical where pressure spikes can occur.
