Keller Series 33X Highly Precise Pressure Transmitters

Keller Series 33X Highly Precise Pressure Transmitters

The Series 33X is a high-precision Piezoresistive pressure transmitter with a highly accurate, mathematically compensated output signal. Standard accuracy is 0.05% of full scale for both RS485 serial and analog outputs, with the options of up to 0.01%FS accuracy. The RS485 comms allow the Control Center Series 30 (CCS30) software, for easy reconfiguration of analog output ranges and adjustments to zero point and gain settings. With ATEX certification, the Series 33X is ideally suited high accuracy pressure monitoring in hazardous area applications.

    Increased Precision / Accuracy (optional)

Higher precision of 0.01%FS, or 0.025%FS, is available as an option (Compared to the standard Series 33X accuracy of 0.05 %FS). These Series are based on the stable, floating piezoresistive transducer and the newly developed XEMICS micro-processor with integrated 16 bit A/D converter. Temperature dependencies and non-linearities of the sensor are mathematically compensated.

Standard Accuracy ±0.05%FS, with KELLER calibration certificate ex works.

Keller uses pressure sources to calibrate its products that are at least four times more accurate than the product to be tested. This enables us to produce products in our factory with an absolute accuracy of up to ±0.05%FS.

Precision ±0.01%FS /±0.025%FS, with KELLER calibration certificate ex works

Additional measurement work and selection of a specific pressure transducer means that optimum
repeatability is guaranteed for the selected pressure transmitters. Owing to the residual measurement uncertainty of the pressure sources used at its factory, KELLER cannot provide any verification of measurement accuracy at scales below ±0.05%FS for these ultra-precise devices. KELLER therefore uses the term “precision” to denote the ability of a pressure transmitter to repeat measured values within a tolerance of up to 0.01%FS based on the pressure sources used at the factory.

Accuracy ±0.01%FS / ≤±0.025%FS with DakkS (German accreditation body) certificate, issued by an
external accredited calibration laboratoryBy calibrating the zero point and performing amplification via the digital interface, an accredited calibration
laboratory (ilac.org) can adapt ultra-precise KELLER products to their more accurate pressure sources and
record the results. External calibration to an accuracy of up to ±0.01%FS is performed in accordance with the guidelines set out by the German Calibration Service (DKD) and is conducted under reference conditions without any consideration of long-term effects.

Improved accuracy is only possible for Series 33X sensors with a PA or PAA pressure reference, ranges 10 Bar or above and the 2-Wire 4-20mA outputs are also excluded.

For units with any other options, intermediate pressure or temperature ranges, please contact us directly for pricing.
