The LL-C-M is a combined light level and occupancy sensor that can be used to control building lights based on occupancy and an adjustable light level. A passive Infra-red detector monitors occupation through moving body heat and a photo-sensitive device monitors the light levels. The sensors are typically used in lighting strategies to optimise energy efficiency through controlling lights. The sensor is an internal ceiling mounted sensor with adjustable light level switching and an adjustable off delay time. Units are 230vAC powered and can provide up to 8A capacity on the switching relay.

The switching point and time delay are set by concealed adjustment potentiometers behind the lens bezel. In normal operation, the lights will only be switched on when the room is occupied and the light levels are below the desired level. Note, when the LUX control is at maximum the lights will always come on with occupancy.
