Handywave HPS120 Modem

Description

The HPS120 is a wireless RS232 communications device and the HPS120-KIT includes two hps-120 transceivers, antennas, power supply and installation manual. Paired units are capable of transmitting RS232 data over a distance of up to 500m, 1200m possible with suitable antenna. Ideal for PC to PC, PC to machine, or machine to machine communications. Pre-configured and paired out of the factory. Remote units can be powered from a 9V battery and HPP-110 cable.

RS-232 interface type

HPS-100 is the cable replacement solution for RS232 port and has more competitive features such as low cost, small form factor, high speed, full duplex, multi-point service than existing wireless data modem products. This product can replace the serial communication cables of RS-232 standard which is widely used in low speed communication between controller and peripheral equipment. Especially in case of installing the cables underground, it will reveal the utmost usefulness. Moreover using the multi-point communication functionality and the service range extension by external directional antenna, you can extend the service application to RS-422 or RS-485 type.
