Description
The GMI GT-Fire Series Multi-Function Portable Leak Detector is a highly specialised, hazardous-area-certified handheld gas detection instrument engineered explicitly for fire brigades, emergency first responders, and arson investigation teams. While built on the same rugged architecture as the standard industrial GT platform, the GT-Fire series features a targeted design overhaul that removes the 100% Volume gas mode and internal pressure manometer in favour of critical public safety tools, including a high-intensity front-facing tactical LED flashlight and dual-sided ultra-bright flashing LED alarm pillars. This optimisation streamlines emergency response by allowing firefighters to conduct high-sensitivity flammable gas leak investigations (ppm to %LEL) and toxic atmosphere profiling independently during call-outs, instantly determining if environmental conditions demand self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) before teams cross a structural threshold.
