Description
The MaxiMet GMX552 is a specialized, professional-grade meteorological station specifically engineered for Human Health & Safety monitoring. While other units focus on crops or solar farms, the GMX552 is designed to protect personnel by integrating an ISO 7243:2017 compliant Black Globe Temperature Sensor. By measuring the heating effect of solar radiation alongside wind, temperature, and humidity, the unit automatically calculates the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT)—the gold standard for assessing heat stress risk. With no moving parts to fail and a solid-state ultrasonic wind sensor, the GMX552 is the primary choice for construction sites, heavy industrial plants, and high-performance sporting events where extreme environmental conditions pose a direct danger to workers or athletes.
