Fieldlogger With HMI Display

FieldLogger

The Fieldlogger is a versatile data logger capable of handling various analogue, digital and Modbus inputs with 2 relay alarm outputs. The Fieldlogger has: 8 configurable analogue inputs, that can be used for thermocouples, PT100, PT1000, voltage, millivolt and 4-20mA inputs; 8 digital input/output channels, suitable for digital state, pulse (counts via Modbus registers) or simple On/Off outputs; 2 relay outputs; RS485 Modbus RTU Master/Slave. A Mini USB interface is available for a PC interface to allow for configuration, monitoring and downloading data and a USB interface is also available to capture logged data to a USB memory stick. The complete version of the Fieldlogger includes: an Ethernet interface, allowing access via a browser and data sent via FTP or Modbus TCP./IP and also to send emails via SMTP; a second generic RS485 Modbus RTU (Slave) port, which also can be connected to the optional HMI Interface; and SD Memory card slot.

  • 8 Universal analog input channels. Suitable for thermocouples, V, mV, mA, PT100 and PT1000
  • Voltage input ranges 0-20mV, 0-50mV, 0-60mV, -20 to +20mV, 0-5V, 0-10V
  • Current input ranges 0-20mA and 4-20mA
  • Temperature inputs J, K, T, E, N, R, S & B Thermocouples or PT100 and PT1000
  • Reading and logging rates of up to 1000Hz with 24 bit A/D conversion resolution
  • 8 digital Individually configurable I/O’s
  • 2 relay outputs (NO, NC and common) rated at 3 amps at 150VAC or 30V DC
  • RS485 interface (Modbus master or slave). When acting as a master, the unit can read up to 64 registers from other slave devices. Registers read can be used in logging, alarms or mathematical operations
  • Ethernet interface with a lot of services available:- Sends alarm warning e-mails (SMTP)- Provides web pages with channels and status information (HTTP)- Allows logged data download via FTP (client and server)- Accesses status and channels values through network management software (SNMP and traps)- Allows Modbus communication by ethernet interface (Modbus TCP)
  • USB-device interface for configuring, monitoring and download
  • USB-host interface for logged data retrieval through a USB flash drive
  • Up to 32 configurable alarms. Alarm actions can include: Activating relays; Activating digital outputs; E-mails sending to multiple receivers; Sending SNMP traps; Starting and/or stopping logging
  • Up to 128 virtual channels. Basic mathematical functions to be applied on other channels: sum, subtraction, multiplication, division, logic (AND, OR and exclusive OR), square root and power
  • 24vDC output for powering up to eight 4-20mA transmitters
  • Power: 100 to 240vAC or 24vDC
  • Detachable human-machine interface (optional)- Keypad and color TFT QVGA display- RS485 communication with FieldLogger
  • Logging: – Up to 100 channels can be logged at a configurable rate- Data download through the configuration software or through the freely distributed download DLL
