The external light level sensors return a linear 0-10vDC signal representing the Lux level at the photo-diode cell based on the selectable Lux levels. The sensors are typically used to monitor external lighting levels to optimise energy efficiency through dimming and/or disabling lights as required. The LL-E-V is an external light level sensor with three different output ranges which can be selected using a link on the PCB. Selectable ranges are 10-2,000 and 10-10,000 Lux. The LL-E-V has two screw fixing holes for easy mounting and is IP65 rated when the snap shut lid is screwed down. Power supply is 24vAC/DC.
The LL-P-V replaces the previous LL-E-V External Light Level Sensor, The new unit includes a black housing that is UV stablised PC/GF material.

When fitting these units outside, please ensure the cable entry is at the bottom and that the cable has a rain loop to help prevent water ingress.
