CDI5250 Hot-tap Compressed Air Flow Meter, suitable for compressed air and Nitrogen. Unit is supplied with a single Aluminium fixing ring, base assembly and hot tap drill guide. The flow meter includes a 4 digit LED digital display with 4-20mA and pulse output. Accuracy 5% of RDG +1% FSD, operating temperature 4-49°C.
The meter measures flow by maintaining one probe warmer than the other. It calculates the mass velocity from the amount of heat required, and then calculates the flow on the basis of pipe area. The flow rate, in scfm, is shown on a large, four-digit display; a 4-20mA output and a pulse output permit remote display, totalising and data collection.
