Description
The MINI60134 is a synthetic plastic macro snap head with an Aluminium vane impeller. The sensor provides a linear frequency pulsed output signal for a flow velocity range of 0-40m/s. For the MINI60132, the probe provide a frequency output of up to 960Hz for a flow velocity range of 0-20m/s. The probe has a starting flow velocity of 0.3m/s but can provide readings below this once the impeller has started moving. The ‘Macro’ head is the largest of the three avaliable and has the lowest starting flow velocity. The Macro head is ideal for measuring flow rates in open areas with potentially low flow velocities.

Snap-Head Replacement
The snap-head fixing system renders it very simple to fit a new impeller to the flow probe: this saves costly non-productive time and in the event of damage to the snap-head enables you to have the probe back in service in a matter of seconds by simply changing the snap-head.
As each blade of the impeller passes the probe handle, this is picked up by the electronics and the probe provides a linear frequency output for the programmed flow velocity range for the related snap head. Each snap head and probe handle are paired and any replacement snap head should be of the same original size and flow range. Fitting an incorrect snap head will not match the probe handle and therefore the MiniAir 60 will no longer provide an accurate output.
The MiniAir vane anemometers are available in three different sizes: Micro; Mini; and Macro, with two different flow ranges available for each: 0-20ms; and 0-40m/s. The standard probes are a synthetic plastic construction snap head with an Aluminium vane turbine and handle. A Steel vane and handle option is available for aggressive gases and a full Steel anemometer for high temperature applications up to 250°C. A full selection can be found on the link below to the MiniAir 6 vane anemometers. Various options are available for the different MiniAir probes. The MiniAir 6 provides a 0-2V output, MiniAir 60 a frequency output and the MiniAir 64 a 4-20mA output.
