Snap Heads for 5m/s MiniWater Micro Turbine Anemometer Probes
The innovative design of MiniWater probes, featuring a snap head turbine anemometer paired with a separate probe handle that houses all the electronics. These probes are constructed from durable synthetic plastic, with an aluminum turbine, making them ideal for measuring liquid flows. Suitable for use in open channel water courses, they can be susceptible to damage from debris, plants, or wildlife.
The unique snap head turbine design allows for on-site replacement, ensuring uninterrupted measurements with the same probe. The snap-on fixing system simplifies the process of attaching a new impeller to the flow probe, providing a secure fit that prevents detachment while submerged. Quickly replacing a damaged probe head minimizes downtime and costs associated with water flow monitoring.
To replace a damaged snap head, simply pull the old head off the handle and push the replacement onto it. The original calibration remains intact, so no adjustments are necessary.

Please note that a snap-on head must be replaced with one of the same size for the corresponding model—Micro for Micro, Mini for Mini, and Macro for Macro. Using a MiniWater snap-on head with a different anemometer will compromise the probe’s accuracy specification
