Description

The WL320 water level transmitter, part number 880911K012, is a reliable solution for water level monitoring with a 100m measurement range and 120m cable. This model is suitable for applications involving aquifers, boreholes, or large reservoirs. The 100m range allows them to be used to monitoring water levels near dams to aid monitoring hydrostatic pressures on dam walls, or tracking seasonal changes in the reservoir capacity. The slim housing can allow this sensor to be more suitable for narrow boreholes

Applications

  • Deep Groundwater Monitoring
    • Monitoring deep wells, ensuring proper resource management and helping avoiding overuse
    • Providing real-time borehole readings during storms to provide early flood warning readings
  • Mining and Construction
    • Monitoring water levels in mines that have flooded, or are being drained for development
    • Sensors can be used for pore-water pressure in soil, helping to prevent landslides or foundation failures
