Description

The WL320 water level transmitter, part number 8809101605, is a reliable solution for water level monitoring with a 1.6m measurement range and 5m cable. This model is suitable for applications involving wastewater drainage systems or industrial process tanks. The 1.6m range allows them to be used to monitoring water levels that can cover over topping events during flooding, or larger process tanks in various industrial or chemical batch processes. The slim housing can be less intrusive, or more suitable in tight spaces.

Application

  • Wastewater and Drainage Management:
    • V-Notch Weirs would normally only need 1m water height monitored to flow rates, 1.6m can cover over-topping events
    • Small Sumps or Lift Stations collect drainage water and trigger sump pumps to prevent flooding
    • “Smart Cities” can use sensors to detect when street gutters are becoming blocked by debris before a flood happens.
  • Industrial Process Tanks
    • Monitoring water levels in batch processing in mixing vats, etc.
    • Monitoring shallow basin for industrial cooling tower to ensure sufficient water to keep pumps primed.
    • Sensors to monitor the level of cleaning fluids in rinse tanks to ensure the equipment is properly sanitised between batches.
