Description
RHT Climate products can be fitted with two different protective tips. All are interchangeable and can be used in our relative humidity (RHT Climate models) measuring transmitters and data loggers. They are:
- Polyamide tip. With side openings (tears) that allow the flow from environment to the sensor element. This tip comes along with all products. Ordering code: 8803900150
- High Density Polyethylene (PTFE) Tip. Produced in porous material, protects the sensor element from dust and other solid particles. However, by reducing the contact windows with the environment to be measured, the response time tends to be higher than when using Polyamide tips. Ordering code: 8803900130
INSTALLATION
- Remove the tip from the device by carefully unscrewing it. Make sure that only the tip should turn around when unscrewed.
- The sensor’s circuit board will be exposed. Avoid touching it!
- Screw the new tip carefully. It is not necessary to force the final screwing.
