By utilising a portable handheld display, the sensor can be taken to the source, wherever it is. With the sensor enclosed within a protective shroud, it limits to flows from a single axis, the user can conduct systematic, high-confidence sweep tests across building envelopes, window frames, or ductwork joints. The probe can be rotated until the highest reading is shown on the display. Showing the operator definitively that the air is flowing from the direction the probe is showing, making the ThermoAir 20 Directional Anemometer an invaluable tool for root-cause analysis in diagnostic applications.
