The 224-600 Therma-Hygrometer is a handheld instrument for measuring relative humidity (RH) and air temperature. Unlike versions that utilise interchangeable probes (like the 6100/6102), the 6000 version features a fixed, integrated sensor at the top of the unit. This integrated design offers significant advantages for quick, simple ambient measurements, providing a more compact, durable, and self-contained device that is less prone to cable or connector damage. The fixed sensor ensures that the instrument is ready to immediately readings in the immediate vicinity, making it perfect for general spot-checking in rooms, storage, or HVAC applications.

Units are powered by 3 x AAA batteries with a minimum life expectancy of up to 10,000 hours. The auto power off function turns the unit off automatically after 10 minutes, maximising battery life.
