Description
The WindSonic 60, Part No. 1405-PK-038, is a robust, versatile, solid state sensor for wind speed and direction monitoring. Wind speed 0-60m/s, accuracy ±2%, wind direction 0-359°, accuracy ±3 degrees. Outputs RS232, RS422, RS485, Operating temperature -35 to +70°C, Storage temperature -40 to +80°C. Input voltage 7-30vDC, from 9mA @ 12vDC. Corrosion-free Polycarbonate housing. Anemometers are supplied with Windcom software and a mating connector. If required, we can add cable before shipping.
The WindSonic 60 has no moving parts, or cups that can easily be damaged, the WindSonic anemometer can be positioned in the grating over the mounting pit protecting a rain bucket, or where birds have previously damaged the more delicate cup anemometer. Providing consistent, useful wind data with minimal disruption or downtime.
