Description
The TSH230 is a Splashproof sensor designed for measuring both temperature and humidity, utilising a 1-Wire interface. It employs a specialised capacitive element for accurate relative humidity readings and a band gap element for temperature measurements. These sensing components are integrated with a precise 12-bit analogue to digital converter, ensuring high-quality and reliable environmental data. When used in conjunction with suitable Ethernet or cellular controllers, the TSH230 becomes an excellent solution for humidity monitoring in environments demanding IP54 level protection against splashing water.
Communication with the TSH230 occurs via a 1-Wire bus, and each sensor is uniquely identified with a 64-bit serial code, enabling the use of multiple sensors on the same bus. The digital sensor is housed in a durable IP65-rated enclosure, providing significant protection against dust ingress and water sprays from any direction. Installation is simplified by a cable gland with a locknut and a screwless terminal block, ensuring secure and straightforward wiring.
