Description
The TSM400-1-CP is a multi-parameter sensor that utilises the 1-Wire protocol to measure both carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration and atmospheric pressure. This sensor is designed for high accuracy and long-term stability, thanks to its use of digital sensing elements for both parameters. Notably, the atmospheric pressure sensing element is factory calibrated and does not require any subsequent re-calibration throughout its lifespan.
For carbon dioxide measurements, the TSM400-1-CP offers a convenient self-calibration feature, which can be performed by exposing the sensor to fresh air (around 400 ppm CO2 concentration). Housed in a slim plastic enclosure, the sensor is suitable for installation in standard flush-mounted or cavity wall boxes (ø68mm with 61mm installation openings). Given that elevated CO2 levels can negatively impact productivity, increase blood pressure, cause headaches, and even pose life-threatening risks in high doses, monitoring CO2 concentration with devices like the TSM400-1-CP is crucial for maintaining healthy environments in offices, workplaces, schools, and other public buildings.
