1-Wire Analogue Input Transmitters

1-Wire Analogue Input Transmitters covering 0-20mA and 0-60V signals inputs with RJ11 connectors for easier daisy-chaining. The TSA200 is a 1-Wire current loop transmitter for 0-20mA/4-20mA inputs, converting analogue current signals from industrial sensors into digital data. In contrast, the TSV200-60i is a 1-Wire DC voltage sensor, designed to measure 0-60VDC. Both feature galvanically isolated inputs and communicate over a 1-Wire bus with unique serial codes, offering flexible and reliable data acquisition for diverse industrial and monitoring applications.

Description

The TSA200 and TSV200-60i are 1-Wire input modules that cover different types of analogue signals. The TSA200 is a current loop transmitter, specifically configured for 0-20mA current inputs, whilst the TSV200-60i is a dedicated DC voltage sensor, designed to measure 0 to 60vDC. Both modules offer galvanic isolation for their respective inputs, a critical feature for signal integrity and protection in industrial environments by preventing ground loops and electrical interference. Both are passive devices, meaning the connected sensors will need separate power supplies.

Despite their distinct input capabilities, both the TSA200 and TSV200-60i share a common communication architecture and user-friendly features. Both operate over the 1-Wire digital protocol, allowing for straightforward integration into distributed sensor networks. Each sensor is equipped with a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple units of either type to coexist and communicate on the same 1-Wire bus. For ease of installation and scalability, both modules feature two RJ11 connectors, facilitating simple daisy-chain wiring for multi-sensor systems. The digital output from both devices can be readily converted into meaningful engineering units using an offset and multiplier set in the master controller, providing flexibility in data interpretation across a variety of applications.
