The HC2A-S3H is identical to the HC2A-S3 but has been adjusted at 9 different humidity points: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 , 60, 70 , 80, 90%RH. This improves the humidity accuracy to ±0.5 %RH, making it ideal for applications requiring a better accuracy.

The modern, modular MP102H/MP402H transmitter platforms support hot-swappable digital HC2A-S3 or HC2A-S3A probes to eliminate field downtime during calibration cycles. The standard interchangeable sensor assemblies leverage the upgraded HYGROMER V-1 internal sensor cell. This core represents a major technological leap from the legacy IN-1, introducing robust defence against the accumulation of organic bio-films or micro-algae common to outdoor deployments, while delivering significantly faster baseline recovery periods after high-moisture saturation events.
The complete Rotronic Meteorological Integration Suite—comprising the high-end HC2A-S3A precision probe and the ruggedised MP102H/MP402H transmitter chassis—represents the pinnacle of weatherproof climate instrumentation. To ensure seamless industrial signal loops, the probe hot-swaps directly into either the MP102H (voltage output) or MP402H (4-20mA current loop) transmitter bases. This unified footprint provides onboard signal conditioning, an integrated RS485 communication interface, and options for secondary 4-wire PT100 RTD thermal traces, all managed within a single weather-shelter installation.
