Description
The TSM400-4-CP is a multi-sensor designed to measure CO2 concentration and pressure. It communicates via RS485 Modbus RTU protocol. For CO2 measurements, the sensor incorporates an advanced non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensing element, a popular method based on the absorption of specific infrared light wavelengths by CO2 molecules.
The CO2 sensing element in the TSM400-4-CP offers a self-calibration feature that activates when the sensor is exposed to fresh air (around 400 ppm CO2). The basic sensing elements for pressure is factory calibrated and do not require re-calibration throughout their lifespan. This sensor is housed in a slim plastic enclosure, with the bottom part designed for easy installation on standard flush-mounted or cavity wall boxes, accommodating openings up to 61mm.
