Description
The TSS8030R is a smoke detector engineered to provide early alerts in the event of a fire. Its detection mechanism relies on the principle of infrared light beam scattering, which occurs when smoke particles enter the sensor’s optical chamber. The device is calibrated at the factory to respond when the smoke concentration reaches a predetermined threshold within the monitored area.
This fire detector incorporates a microprocessor that operates using an advanced algorithm. This algorithm includes a self-compensation feature designed to counteract the effects of contamination that may accumulate within the smoke chamber over time, ensuring reliable long-term performance. The sensor is equipped with a relay output, making it compatible with a variety of control systems that feature digital inputs configured for “dry contact” operation.
