LL-MINI-CTD-ABS-010

The LL-MINI-CTD-ABS-010 is a precise water level, conductivity, salinity and temperature sensor designed for diverse seawater and surface water applications. Encased in a sealed unit, it integrates conductivity, salinity, temperature and water level sensing capabilities. The LL-MINI-CTD-ABS-010 includes an Absolute piezoresistive ceramic pressure sensor suitable for a 10m water depth range. (Non-vented cable required). This sensor can provide SDI-12 and Modbus outputs but does requires connection to an external data logger or AquaTel telemetry device for power and data logging.

LeveLine-Mini-CTD Sensor

Description

The LL-MINI-CTD-ABS-010 is a 10m water level sensor with conductivity, temperature and salinity measurements. The sensor incorporates an Absolute piezoresistive sensor to monitor depth. This sensor doesn’t require a vent tube to the surface, but will require readings are compensated for barometric pressure readings taken at the surface. The sensor includes the same 4 ring stainless steel to measure conductivity and salinity measurements with an integral temperature sensor to provide temperature compensated values. This ensuring accurate readings across the full operational temperature range of -20 to +80°C. Users can select from a range of cable lengths and AquaConn connectors.

The sensor housing is constructed from a carbon fibre and titanium composite. This material selection provides a high strength-to-weight ratio and enhanced corrosion resistance, critical for reliable long-term deployment in challenging environmental conditions, including saline solutions.
