The WDM9715 Wireless Data Modem is a transceiver designed for data transmission and reception. The WDM9715 is based on the latest technology, which makes it possible to have a high data speed 32/64Kb/s on a 25 KHz channel. The high data speed is obtained by using QAM signalling. The high power, 15W options allows for data transmission of up to 50Km with options of point to point, or point to multi-point transmission. The WDM9715 is available for fixed and mobile applications using UHF radio frequency bands. It can be used for Road systems, Water, Sewage, Electricity sector, Pipeline, windmills, tunnels etc.
Programming of all parameters, including configuration of the data interface, radio frequencies, power output, can be performed by using a standard PC through the built-in interface and dedicated software. Once the simple configuration procedure is completed, the units will be ready for transmitting and receiving data.
