The standard GL840 data logger comes with a terminal block that allows up to 20 input channels. This can be expanded using the B-566 terminal base unit to a maximum of 200 channels using 10 sets of terminal base plates, terminal blocks and connection cables.
The following shows how a standard GL840 configuration can be expanded up to a 40 channel configuration.

A single connection cable can be used to connect the GL840 to the terminal base plates, or you can connect each base plate with the 0.5m or 2m connection cables. This allows for a longer cable and each terminal base plate to be located closer to the application.
