Description
The WindSonic 60 is a robust, versatile wind speed and direction sensor. With no moving parts, or cups that can easily be damage, the WindSonic anemometer can be position in the grating over the mounting pit protecting a rain bucket, or where birds have previously damaged the more delicate cup anemometer. Providing consistent, useful wind data with minimal disruption or downtime.
Part Number 1405-PK-021 has an RS232 output, which can be useful for shorter cable lengths, or a direct connection to PC, or laptop, to view real-time readings, or log the readings directly to your PC or laptop. The RS232 connection can be used with the WindView software, providing a clear view of current wind conditions and can be ideal for students or those visiting sites for short-term wind monitoring, eg sporting event organisers, construction site safety or environmental research.
